If an animal is on our website, it is still available but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, it is in your best interest to submit an application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
As an all-volunteer, foster home based organization, ARF does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we must give priority to pre-approved applicants.
Lola is a 40 pound 3 year old bundle of love. She stands only 18 inches tall (shoulders to floor). Lola had a rough start in life, having been abandoned in a trailer by her former owner. She has since gained weight and makes friends with everyone she meets. Lola craves attention and cuddling with people. She is great with kids! She also loves playing with other dogs and chasing squirrels. Lola sleeps quietly all night long and is housetrained. She is curious of cats and learning to walk better on a leash. Lola will make a fine companion for anyone who needs a dog to cuddle with in the new year.
Lola is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken and spayed. Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Lola's adoption fee is $275. as we cannot hold animals.
All household members must be present at time of adoption, including dogs.
